Detailed itinerary

At 08:30 meet your guide and driver then take an enjoyable 3-hour drive to Halong City. If you like, you should break your journey to visit a craft center or a ceramic workshop. Along the journey enjoy the truly interesting country of Vietnam with rice fields, water buffaloes, hard-working peasants and their villages.

On arrival Halong city, board your private boat for 04-hour cruising trip through emerald waters and limestone formation. Visit the newly discovered Thien Cung Cave (Grotto of Heaven Palace) which well-known for its stalagmites and stalactites.

Continue your walk to visit Dau Go Cave (Grotto of the wooden stakes) where in the year 1288 hundreds of stakes were hired deep inside the cave by Tran Hung Dao, the most famous Vietnam’s General, prior to a battle with invading Mongolian army.

Enjoy a seafood lunch while cruising through Halong Bay passing by some of the most amazing rock formations including Dog, Dinh Huong, Sail islands and a floating fishing village.

Cruise back to Halong City where your car will be waiting to take you back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi at approx 19:00.
